About
My name is Karen. Born and raised in Northern Ireland, I made the move to Ontario in 2012 with my young family. Originally a high school teacher, I was then lucky enough to become a stay at home mom and raise my three children.
When the time came to return to work, I decided to follow my heart and pursue a career with dogs. After spending some time in doggy daycare, I realized the salon was where I wanted to be. I trained as a groomer at Fluffy Paws Grooming School under Master Groomer Wynne Wong. Since graduating I have worked in both corporate and private salons.
With our move to Cochrane in the summer of 2026, my dream of creating my own in home salon became a reality. Named after my beautiful pup Beau and designed with separate dedicated bathing and grooming areas, I am excited to welcome the many beautiful pups of Cochrane to The Beau Dog Grooming Salon.
I am committed to ensuring every pup, young or old, big or small, has the most positive grooming experience possible in a relaxing, peaceful environment.
